Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (Computer Games/Serious Games)
£32,901 to £39,257 (Fixed Term for 2 Years) Paisley Campus
The School of Computing is one of the leading players in computing and IT, with extensive expertise in research and development and collaborative working relationships with multinational companies.
We are seeking to recruit a talented Research Fellow to work on European projects covering Serious Games technologies and to conduct research and scholarly activity in order to support the School’s research activities.
The successful candidate should possess a PhD in Computing or in a related discipline and have a proven track record in scientific writing and presentations at conferences. In-depth knowledge of computer games technologies and evaluation, and research methodologies are also crucial to this post.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, good project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a diverse team, collaborating with colleagues and sharing expertise are also essential.
This is a 2-year fixed term post in the first instance.
